We believe that if the whole world doesn't see your idea anywhere, creatives run the risk of someone else stealing it, or doing before you…that’s a nightmare.

We did a deep search and find that many inventions that change the world has been given to european and american persons, when the reality is that a latin inventors were the real ones behind those fantastic, moving world forward ideas.

That is how Latinrights was born, a project (with more than 700 likes on Behance and a silver recognition from the site) made at Ref+ agency in São Paulo, to give back the credit to Latin American brightest minds.

In 1975, punk was born in England.In 1960, it was born in Peru.

Sadly, the global attention was on England and New York, without giving importance to what was happening in Latin America.

Luckily, LatinSpots has spread Latin American ideas in the last 25 years to promote their international relevance.

We present Latinrights as a movement to claim Latin American ideas.

So, firstly, we decided to give The Saicos the notoriety they did not have in the 60’s, creating outdoors affirming that the punk belongs to Latin American. Then we made a world tour for them and a website to share the meaningful ideas that changed the world came from the brightest Latin American minds.
